Digital photography is a quite recent development that has converted the large masses into photographers. It is by far the easiest way to take a snapshot and allows the photographer to enhance its overall features later on. Because digital cameras use rewritable digital memory instead of film, you can have the convenience of taking good shots and eliminating the bad ones. It offers the easiest way of capturing good images and converting them to interesting art pieces.
Indeed, even digital photography has come a long way ever since the first digital cameras and computers entered the consumer market. The development of budget digital cameras has induced tremendous change in the world of photography, as everyone with a digital camera can take a photograph, upload it to their desktop computer and then share it with friends.
The birth of mass photography has also brought a niche for online photography related services. There are several companies that cater the consumers' needs of this sort. Usually, they offer services such as digital image restoration, photo retouching, and photo editing or digital enhancement. These services bring satisfaction to photo hobbyists, as they are able to develop many "failed" photos into acceptable form.
Even though digital cameras allow immediate feedback on the shot, not all mistakes are easily noted on a small camera screen. Therefore many photographs that look quite right at first will actually need some attention before they can be used on the high resolution needed on for example printing them out.
Enter Digital Enhancement
Digital enhancement is the answer to many of the image quality problems mentioned above. It is the way to improve your shot and make it look more attractive, or the way to recover a photo from a lesser failure. With digital enhancement, you can easily increase the attractiveness of images by simply adjusting the brightness, contrast and sharpness of the image. You are also given the chance to enhance the color balance of the picture. The high resolution of modern digital cameras also allows for digital resizing and cropping later on.
There are many innovative ways to improve a digital photograph using these computer aided techniques. Anyone who is into digital photography can take advantage of the services that offered online, but most enthusiasts want to learn the way to do it themselves.
The professional Adobe Photoshop is a good tool that can also be used by hobbyists. The steep price can push users away from professional tools, but fortunately Photoshop Elements from Adobe or the Paint Shop Pro series from Corel have a cheaper price tag attached. There are also free alternatives available, such a GIMP, the GNU Image Manipulation Program .

A core SEO principle involves understanding the SEO long tail of keywords and how to leverage its potential with your on page and off page strategy. When a search engine optimization specialist masters long tail keyword research he (or she) is enabling the website's ability to maximize search engine ranking potential. A long tail keyword strategy can be applied to both natural (organic) search rankings and pay per click (PPC) advertising.
With long tail strategy the SEO specialist understands that even though the majority of searches are typically centered on a one, two or three word keyword search phrase that there is an extensive amount of value in the total combined search volumes of four and five keyword targeted phrases. Why would your strategy focus around long tail keywords?
Keyword Strategy and the Long Tail:
If you knew the majority of searches where not occurring among four-word for five-word keyword phrases, then why target them? There are several reasons why this strategy might be adventurous, mainly because the barriers of ranking naturally for shorter keyword phrases are too high. This might be because the sites currently ranking well for the shorter keyword phrase are older (more established), have a significantly larger website, or have more links pointing to their site, some of which use the targeted keyword phrase as anchor text.
Understanding that you may not rank for certain high traffic two or three keyword phrases the SEO professional must think more creativity. The SEO professional must look to find "deeper," or long tail keywords. Typically the search volumes are much lower for long tail keywords, so it becomes a strategy of volume. If planned correctly ranking for the sum of long tail keywords will have a greater value than just ranking for one or two high traffic keywords.
Applying the Long Tail to Natural Search Keywords:
Keyword research uncovers the ability to find keyword phrases that might not appear obvious, but have search volumes significant enough for the SEO professional to target. It is important to remember that different stemming words and plurals can help create a vast combination of unique targeted keyword phrases. The additional for a descriptive adjective or geography can further help distinguish a SEO long tail keyword from a root keyword phrase.
Ranking for search engine optimization is more difficult than when geography is added into the mix. In the example of an SEO agency in Atlanta, GA the root keyword phrase search engine optimization is highly desirable, but not necessarily achievable. In this example the agency might want to target a long tail phrase such as:
- Atlanta SEO agency
- Search engine optimization in Atlanta, GA
- Georgia search engine optimization
Applying the Long Tail to Pay Per Click Keywords:
Long tail keywords is a presents a great PPC opportunity. If you have the capacity and organizational ability to manage the complexity of the campaign you'll be rewarded with less competition and a dramatically lower cost per click (CPC) for your long tail keywords. If you feel your budget is inadequate for your PPC ad spend, looking to long tail keywords is a smart strategy to maximize you ability to reach the most amount of potential online consumers with your budget.
The more a SEO specialist can understand about the consumer, the better he is able to design content and online campaigns that will target and appeal to the consumer performing a search. Each keyword phrase is different and recognizing the connections between on page and off page strategy can help the SEO professional provide maximum value to the website's ability to communicate its message to the online community.

Have you ever experienced an annoying problem with your computer that you just could not get sorted out on your own? Most people have, and it can be completely frustrating when you are on a schedule trying to meet a deadline. Computer consultants/technicians are expensive even for the most basic of tasks, and calling one each time you have a simple problem can break the bank pretty quickly. However, if you can read simple directions and follow instructions, then it is likely that you can get all the help you need with your computer problems just for the asking.
So how is this possible and where do you need to go? Just visit one of the thousands of computer forums online and you will have hundreds or thousands of people willing to help you out with whatever problem you may have. Most of the minor issues or concerns that you have can be solved by posing a simple question to the many willing participants of the forum. Despite the cynical thinking of some, people are naturally helpful and computer forums are a great place to get help. Even if you have a major issue, there are some participants on forums who will go out of their way to help you get it resolved.
Considering the helpfulness of many of the participants on computer forums, you may be wondering why these individuals choose to help others who need it. There are probably thousands of reasons, but some of the main reasons computer forum participants are willing to help are:
1. People generally like to help others - it gives them a sense of purpose and usefulness
2. They may be "paying it forward" - someone helped them out when they needed it
3. They may have a type of symbiotic relationship with the computer forum - they provide help in exchange for advertising their business and gaining new clients
The third reason is the probably main reason that many users frequent computer forums and provide help. In addition to generally feeling good about helping others, they are afforded the opportunity to promote their business in the process. This works for you and the person providing the help.
They will provide a detailed response addressing your concern; and in return, they are allowed to place a small two to three sentence ad, also called a "signature", at the end of their post advertising their business. If they are really helpful, many times people will become regular customers/clients and consult them for future issues.
You should be aware that on any forum you visit, there are rules regarding acceptable behavior; and these rules will vary across the different computer forums. So when you join, be sure to read all the rules regarding forum etiquette before you even place your first post.
Computer forums are an excellent way to get the help you need at either no cost or a reduced rate. In addition to getting help, you benefit from becoming a member of a community. And once you have your issue sorted out, hopefully in the future, you will return the favor and lend a hand to another.

How to use Google to keep your computer error free.
What do you do when an error message pops up on your screen?
Where do you go for help?
The first thing you need to do is write down the exact wording of the error message. Then hold down the Alt button and click on the Print Screen button. This will copy an image of the error message to your clipboard. Now you can open your paint program by clicking on your Start button > Programs > Accessories > Paint. On the menu bar, at the top of the program, click on Edit, then Paste. This will copy the picture of the error message into your Paint program and you can then save a copy of it. I advise making a folder on your hard drive and naming it something like Error Messages. Save a copy on any error messages you get into this folder for future reference.
Now open your Browser and go to www.google.com
Type the exact error message and click on the Search Button. Now comes the hard part. You will need to read the summaries of each link to find the one that closely matches your issue. Click on that link and check out that web site to see if it talks about your error message. Most of the time you will find you are at a forum site, with other people asking the same question. You can then see if anyone has answered the question on how to fix the error. You may have to look a while find the right answer, but I have found over the years this is your best resource for computer help.

Technology has made given you the possibility of recovering deleted photos regardless of your media. You may be amazed to learn that the image resolution and quality are still very good enabling you to view everything clearly for whatever purpose they may serve.
There are several uses for digital picture recovery especially in cases like:
1. Formatted photos have been corrupted, damaged internally or destroyed by virus.
2. The media wherein the digital pics were stored was damaged, destroyed or inaccessible.
3. The digital pictures were intentionally deleted by individuals trying to hide evidence.
4. The digital pictures were accidentally deleted by automatic commands in the media.
5. The format has changed making picture viewing inaccessible or impossible to transfer.
On most occasions, malicious data can damage files and photos directly while other types of virus affects a large part of the computer system which includes digital pics. There are individuals who may delete a number of files trying to remove the virus. New software available is able to recover both damaged existent pictures and damaged deleted ones. All images will be restored without compromising quality and detail. Installing antivirus programs and other protection applications will help prevent future corruption.
Some individuals may also think that their media is already obsolete or destroyed externally making it impossible to access pictures. Losing the computer connection of PDAs, cellular phones and other mobile gadgets keeps users from viewing or transferring picture files. However, memory sticks and sim cards can still be used by professionals wherein all stored data can be recovered and moved to a more accessible platform.
If you recover deleted pics, you may also be able to solve a number of mysteries especially if you want to prove online infidelity or other malicious activities done by persons you know. Some pictures may be intentionally deleted by individuals after viewing in order to eliminate evidence of dishonest actions. Most pictures that have led to the discovery of these types of activities include spouses with a third party, samples of drugs and other illegal materials and crime scenarios.
All types of media have commands to help manage allocation of files and maintain enough space in the memory. Cellular phones, PDAs and digital cameras may spur users to instantly delete pictures by group in order to save more space. Several uses accidentally delete a number of photos at once along with those that they might still be useful for them. The presence of a trash bin is advantageous since files are not eliminated completely. Even if the trash has been emptied, there are now advanced tools and programs that can still recover deleted pics through traces.
Finally, a change in the operating system or format of the media may cause problems in terms of file support making pictures impossible to view or manipulate. There are now software that can easily restore any type of file like GIF, JPEG, JPG, TIF, AVI, BMP and many more. A variety of brands and removable media and hard disk drives are supported by available software. All you need to do is bring the device or media to a professional and they will either fix it containing all retrieved photos or transfer all data in another accessible media such as a CD or DVD.

Copyright (c) 2008 PC Registry Repair
No one wants to be stuck with a PC running slow. There are so many things that people have to attend to day-in and day-out that an additional 15-30 minutes for computer loading is simply too much time to be wasted. Having said that, the only solution is to take certain steps to help speed up your system. And in case you didn't know, the best place to start with that mission is with your hardware and your operating system.
Checking Out Your Hardware
There are many reasons why a computer may become sluggish and unresponsive. However, most people jump to the conclusion that they are infected with a virus or some sort of spyware -- when in fact, they may just be dealing with overheated hardware.
Your CPU, the brain of the computer, is prone to heating up when used for extended periods of time -- and considering the fact that the CPU is typically small, it doesn't take all that long for it to reach dangerous temperatures. This increased temperature causes the computer to behave erratically, resulting in very slow reaction time. You should also note that the more heat the CPU generates, the slower the computer will likely respond. To nip this problem in the butt, follow these 3 simple PC speedup tips.
1) Clean your fans of dust regularly. When dust collects on or around the fans, it makes cooling the inside of the computer much more difficult.
2) Consider adding 1-2 additional fans. The more fans you have, the less likely your CPU is to overheat. Fans are quite inexpensive, so there is no excuse not to pick up an extra one.
3) Switch to round cables instead of ribbon designed ones. These cables are inexpensive and usually easy to switch out with your current cables. Round cables promote better air flow, allowing your PC to remain cool and operate smoothly.
Checking Out Your Operating System
If you've gone through the same old song and dance to get your computer back to a tolerable speed -- anti-virus scans, spyware scans, software updates, defragmentation, disk clean-up, ect. -- yet still have not seen any type of improvement, it may be time to take a look at your registry.
Registry errors are one of the primary causes of your PC running slow, as they continue to build until the PC's owner takes the necessary action. These errors can occur at any time, making registry repair an extremely important aspect when trying to keep your system up to speed & in good health. However, you should not try to handle the situation all on your own.
Trying to remove registry errors without detailed knowledge of your operating system or of your normal processes is just foolish, as you could very well remove something that your system greatly needs and further damage your computer. Having said that, your best bet is to get a Windows repair software tool which can perform automatic registry repair on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. This way you'll keep registry errors to a minimum and you won't need to worry about different ways of speeding up your system.

You will probably need the help of file recovery products at some point if you regularly use a computer or notebook. After all, just about everyone has made the honest mistake of deleting a file. But when you lose your data and your backup program fails, you need a file recovery solution to help you correct the situation fast.
4 data loss situations that software can address are...
- deleted, lost, damaged and corrupt files. Let's see what they mean and what you can do about your situation:
Recovering a deleted file
It's so easy to unintentionally delete a file. This recovery issue is one of the most common and is the easiest to resolve most of the time. Focus on the Undelete data recovery products - there are a lot to choose from, particularly in the Windows data recovery field.
Finding a lost file
A lost file could still exist even though you can't find it. A file could be deleted or lost due to a power outage, software application crash, virus attack, partition problem or an accidental format; a software crash; partition table problems; and the world-famous accidental format. There are several solutions to choose from, depending on what actually caused the problem. I'll explain...
File recovery products are more capable of solving your recovery problems than a basic undelete utility. However, both undelete and file recovery software are unable to recover data in cases where the file system has been altered. But data recovery software can. Most people think all of these products are the same because they address a similar issue, but they are not. The state of your file system will decide which data restore program you will need.
To makes matters more confusing: Even though a file recovery tool is limited in what it can accomplish as a stand alone product, when it is included as an operation in data recovery software, it recovers both problems (when the file system is ok or where it has been altered). So when you aren't sure which to use, go with the data recovery utility because it covers the whole gamut.
An added twist: If you still don't understand how to determine one software solution from the other, just remember that a file recovery tool is limited to what it can accomplish on its own. If it still feels like information overload or a lot of extra work, just work with data recovery software because it is the more powerful tool.
Could it be this simple?
Checking prices is the absolute simplest way to tell the difference between the different software programs. File recovery software and its sibling undelete programs will cost less than seventy-five dollars, while a full-on data recovery utility runs upward of eighty bucks - and sometimes in the hundreds.
Corrupt files
A corrupt file refers to a file that can be located, but it cannot or does not open correctly; as you open the file the content is unreadable. If you need to retrieve data from a corrupt file, you can start with any file recovery tool: if the file system is unchanged, any file recovery utility can get the job done. If that doesn't work, try a data recovery software program just like with lost files.
Repairing damaged files
You can open a damaged file, but you may not be able to read it well. Part of the text may be clear, but the rest of the file will not be legible. A situation like this needs a file repair utility to reconstruct the data. Make sure the software you are using state that it can actually repair a file, because file repair works differently than file recovery functions. Note that file repair programs are normally sold separately from file recovery utilities.
File recovery experts
Data recovery tools are not always the answer. There are some situations that just can't be repaired using the programs available on the market. If you experience a situation beyond the recovery abilities of an automated tool, you may need the services of a hard drive data recovery expert as the final way to recover your data. This is a more expensive option - however, even this file recovery solution is easier and cost-effective than recreating all the data.

Wouldn’t it be nice if every time you turned your computer on it operated like it was brand new? Unfortunately, it doesn’t happen that way.
The Problem With Computers Today – They’re Not Hassle-Free
Computers are getting more complex every day. Most of us think as new bells and whistles are added that computers are getting easier to run. Unfortunately, that’s not so. In fact, computer problems are getting worse.
Computers today are not hassle-free. For most of us hassles, headaches and frustrations from computer problems are commonplace.
Cyber-crime – A Huge Computer Problem Maker
Cyber-crime is booming. According to V. McNiven, advisor to the U.S. Department of Treasury, “The proceeds from cyber-crime are now greater than the sale of illegal drugs.”
Vent Cerf, founder of the Internet says about 150 million PCs currently connected to the Internet are part of Botnets – networks of PCs under hacker control. Sophos Labs recently announced that one million new forms of spyware were spewed out over the Internet in the first two months of 2008.
How does this relate to your computer problems? The spyware hackers use to steal information or take control causes slow downs and computer problems.
Hackers are smart. They are developing more sophisticated spyware that is hard to detect and even harder to destroy. As a result, the traditional over-the-counter products are generally rendered ineffective. If they were effective would we have the problems we have today?
What are the options? Repairing and maintaining your computer is expensive. Most of us don’t have the expertise to maintain, repair and/or protect our PC. Frankly, “do-it-yourself” and having your computer geek cousin fix your computer isn’t working. We end up wasting valuable time and money trying to keep our computer running.
“Cycle of Common Non-Sense”
Whether we know it or not, the moment we purchase a new computer we enter the “Cycle of Common Non-Sense.” See if this sounds familiar to you.
1. First we buy a new computer.
2. After a couple of months we experience slow downs and computer problems begin to pile up.
3. At first we accept the hassles as the norm and learn to live with it.
4. Eventually, though, bigger computer problems develop. We go through infection, lost files, computer failure and perhaps our identity is stolen.
5. So, we try to fix it yourself
6. We ask for help from a friend and family member after our personal efforts failed
7. Frustrated, we get professional help
8. Many times the professional’s suggestion is to reformat your computer. We lose valuable files, and pay for expensive service
9. Finally, we give up on the “old” computer that costs too much to repair
10. We decide to buy a new computer – again and the cycle starts over again.
The Solution To The Problem
There is an emerging answer to this computer problem. It’s called “Personal Computer Services.” Personal computer service is like having a tech in your hip pocket ready to repair your computer the moment it starts acting up.
Personal computer service gets your computer operating like new and maintains it so you get back to having a fun and productive experience. They do it by offering unlimited service from trained technicians, personalized one-on-one care with English speaking techs. The service is quick and easy – just a phone call away with remote connection to your computer over the Internet. There’s no hidden per minute or per incident fees meaning you end up with a hassle-free experience.
You have a choice, continue to go through the “Cycle of Common Non-Sense” or look for a personal computer service that takes the hassles out of computing and makes being on the computer fun and productive again.

The term Spam is thought to be derived from a Monte Python skit. But the fact that Spam makes up over 80 percent of emails sent isn’t that funny!
A Monte Python sketch performed in 1970 references the British rationing during World War II. SPAM was one of the only meat products that was readily available and not being rationed. Python’s sketch is set in a café and every item on the menu contains Spam lunch meat. A song repeating the word SPAM is being sung and is drowning out the waiter who is dictating the SPAM filled menu in detail.
An instance of unsolicited commercial email was originally noted in 1978. Although it seems that the idea was born years earlier when an unsolicited electronic messaging using the media occurred by telegram in 1864! In the 1980’s the term Spam started to be used to describe annoying users of early chat rooms who would repeatedly type the word Spam in an abusive manner to drive others out of the room. Especially others from rival groups surrounding said topic. They would also flood the screen with quotes from the Monte Python sketch in the same manner. Soon rather than being called flooding or trashing it became common place to refer to these methods as spamming. Later it evolved to mean excessive multiple posting of the same message. In the 1990’s we began to see the excessive amount of “get rich quick” schemes being advertised in this manner. Commercial spamming began in 1994 courtesy of two lawyers advertising their immigration law services. Shortly there after the focus of spamming and anti spam efforts moved to email and that is where the focus of this phenomenon remains today.
Most of us receive some type of Spam everyday. Spam is incredibly easy and inexpensive to create and can be very profitable. There are a number of companies set up to send “bulk e-mail”. They are able to send billions of messages a day. In the US there have been a number of lawsuits concerning Spam and laws created trying to reduce the production. Therefore, it is becoming more prevalent that these companies operate out of foreign countries. They have also changed their soliciting methods to read “spam-free” which refers to a person who has chosen to “opt-in” by clicking a box near the end of some enrollment form thereby agreeing to have updates or newsletters sent. Sometimes this box is pre checked and you must unclick in order to “opt-out”. These names are then sold to the bulk e-mailing companies.
Spam filtering software is the best technology available at the present time to reduce Spam. Spam filtering is included in most versions of anti virus software . It is pretty simple for spammers to sidestep these filters simply by misspelling keywords. Also, these filters often block e-mail that you do want to receive because of key words being misinterpreted. SPAM hits other venues besides email such as instant messaging, chat rooms, newsgroups, forums, mobile phones, online games, search engines, and blogs. For the time being it looks like the only way to avoid a majority of Spam is to avoid traditional email all together. Requiring a person to fill out a form that is in turn sent to the recipient successfully blocks spammers. This is currently how many business and organizations including the White House are handling their e-mail.
The term Spam is thought to be derived from a Monte Python skit but is not received by many as being humorous. Spamming is a phenomenon that has been beneficial for some and a nuisance to the masses who make up the recipients of the billions of messages sent per day.
